Build an Electric Car – Why Building an Electric Car is NOT Rocket Science

People blame the oil companies and oil-producing countries for the exorbitant gas prices. In the midst of an economic downturn, raising gas prices not only affects the low and middle-income groups; even the rich are feeling the burn. Some people now endure the hellish commute during rush hour, while the rich few had to start flying commercial instead of traveling in style. The strange thing is that there is a solution and yet a lot of people choose to ignore.

The easiest way to beat the oil crisis is to build an electric car. It might sound like one of those “easier said than done” kind of things, but the truth is that it’s not as difficult as you think. All you need is your old-gas powered car, some tools, and an electric car guide. They say it takes giant car manufacturers to build an electric car, but really, all you need is an expert guide and the proper tools and you’re good to go.

You might be a little intimidated about the whole mechanical knowledge and requirements especially if you have little to zero knowledge about the inner workings of an automobile; but you see the electric car guide will walk you through each step so you know you are doing the right thing. Besides, if you don’t want to do the dirty work, you can always ask a friend to help you. It’s just really unfortunate that the big car manufacturers were pressured into shelving the electric car.

The United States relies on oil-producing countries for oil and as long as that remains as the status quo, every American will have no choice but pay for oil prices set by those countries. What needs to be realized is that no one has to be at the mercy of these greedy oil-producing countries. A great alternative is to build an electric car. You can completely turn your car into a money saver. Imagine not having to fill up your car just to get to places. All you need is to charge your car and you can go on a 150 to 200 mile trip without having to worry about breaking down.

Having a guide is no different from having a manual that you read to operate equipment or an appliance. It’s easy and it doesn’t require a degree in mechanical engineering. Electric car conversion is not really a top secret procedure; some people just make it out as something that’s very complicated. There seems to have been some form of black propaganda to shot down the electric car as an alternative means of transport. This should be so surprising since nobody wants to mess with the powers that be.

Using an electric car will not only make you save money; it also means you will be doing your part in saving the planet from doom. If you build an electric car, you are also transforming it into an environment-friendly car because there is less transmission and even less noise. These should be enough reasons to convince you to make the switch.
