When it comes to campers there are so many different types. The type that you choose will depend on your needs as well as your budget. They can be purchased for as little as $5,000, and then the price can go up from there. If you can afford it you may end up paying as much for a camper as you paid for your home.

Pop up campers are very practical, if you only have a car to haul it with. They are not tall, therefore, that can be parked under a carport or in a garage when they are not in use. They will most always come with a heater of some sort, and then you can add other options as you see fit. They will also always have a restroom inside. They are around 10 feet tall, and can expand to about 30 feet long. They are a very good option if you are a first time buyer.

If you happen to have a little bigger budget, you may consider a 5th wheel trailer. This is one that will be around 50 to 60 feet long as well as be able to sleep at least six people. It will always have a restroom, with a shower, and a kitchen as well. These are a little more popular. They are for the more serious camper, simply because of the cost. They normally start around $15,000 and then go up in price. A truck will definitely be needed in order to pull a 5th wheel, as well as most types of campers.

There are also more traditional truck campers. These are very small, but they will do the job if you are willing to make the sacrifice of being scrunched. A truck camper will sit right in the back of the truck bed. It will sleep around four people, and then have a kitchen. Some may have a restroom, but very small. a camper as you paid for your home.
